Chapter 20

This is where the polar bears usually are. They're not there now because the zoo decided to take them away for awhile. They'll be brought back when people want to look at them because they're polar bears and not because they ate someone.

When you watch something icky on TV, you know it's only a movie and it's not real, but I saw a polar bear on TV actually kill someone and then eat him, and it was real.

I get scared and want to cry every time I think about it. The TV wasn't live. The bear had eaten him a few hours earlier, and I think I actually heard his scream when the bear got him.

I was afraid Mr. Cave would come and get me and feed me to the bear too.
